John Ormsbee '83 writes to tell us of this intrepid trio: The Tour de Ephs
"You may already be aware of this because they managed to get a little pub on the old blog, but just in case you haven't, over at www.ephdetour.com you can follow the travels of three absolutely charming Ephs who are currently biking across country. They have managed to put up a post every single day so far, and they have been on the road for 49 days (and have covered 2,841 miles.)
"My Eph wife and son '13 and I are going to get to host them in a couple of days as they pass through the Rochester area. They arrive Friday in time for cocktails, so if there is something in your vast mixological repertoire that particularly says "Welcome, Williams friend," I would be very glad of the suggestion."
The trio is composed of Joseph “JJ” Augenbraun: The Cyclist, Antonio “Tony the Tiger” Lorenzo: The Technician, and Christopher “Fox” Fox: The Scribe. A fourth member, Evan “Charney” Maltby: The Minstrel (in spirit), is with them as the "in spirit " implies. He broke his elbow while in training for this event.
The trio is riding to support the Berkshire Food Project. "We hope that this trip will raise awareness for this organization that helps fight food insecurity and hunger in the the Berkshires.
