What's in Your Wallet, eh? ...

Hood River is a town where British Columbia licence plates are common. Trim, athletic, kite-boarding and wind-surfing BC'ers used to ask "How much is that in real money, eh?". But now the pants pockets have been turned.
From this ams' Financial Times
The Swiss franc, Canadian and Australian dollars are being increasingly traded in the foreign exchange markets as they represent an alternative group of ‘shadow currencies’ for investors wishing to take directional views on the world’s three leading economies: America, China and Germany.
The fiasco of the past few days on Capitol Hill has produced Moody results varying from Standard to Poor. Not that it's going to make much difference to me. My portfolio of lottery tickets purchased at the Liquor Store is impervious to such doings. Thank you, Emile Dupres, Kermit Gordon and Econ 1-2 for saving me from myself. The value of a Williams education and an 8 o'clock class are proven once again!
